This Privacy Policy (“Statement” or “Policy”) applies to the information we collect through our Services, unless the website, mobile application, or other digital, interactive service has a separate privacy policy, in which case that privacy policy will govern. This Privacy Policy, together with the Terms of Use posted on our Services, sets forth the general rules and policies governing your use of our Services. Depending on your activities when visiting our Services, you may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions.

Advertising on A360 Media, LLC Brand Websites

First for WomenWomen’s WorldSoaps in Depth, and Soap Opera Digest websites are affiliated with CMI Marketing, Inc., d/b/a Raptive (“Raptive”) for the purpose of placing advertising on the Site, and Raptive will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes.   • Account Information includes name, email address, username and password, gender, and date of birth. We collect this information when you provide it directly to us. We collect this information for the purposes of account creation and management, advertising and marketing, analytics and research, customer service, and website security and maintenance.
  • Analytics Information. We collect certain analytics information automatically as you navigate our Services. This includes cookies, tracking pixels, tags or similar tools, which may collect information about your browser, device, geolocation, and interactions with the Services, Site, or emails.   • Contact Information includes name, email address, and phone number.   • Commercial History includes information regarding the purchases you have made through our Services and your subscription information. We may combine this information with other categories of information and disclose it to our affiliates, partners, and service providers for analytics, advertising, and marketing purposes. We collect this information for the purposes of account creation and management, advertising and marketing, analytics and research, customer service, and website security and maintenance.
  • Payment Information includes name, address, phone number, and debit or credit card information. We collect this information for the purposes of account creation and management, analytics and research, customer service, and website security and maintenance.
  • Responses to Surveys and Questionnaires includes any information you provide to us when you voluntary complete market research surveys, such as email address, information regarding your interests, demographic information, and any other information you may provide to us. We collect this information for the purposes of advertising and marketing, analytics and research, customer service, and website security and maintenance.
  • Responses to Sweepstakes, Contests, or Promotions includes any information that you provide to us when you voluntarily enter into one of our promotional offerings. This may include your contact information, analytics information, and any additional specific information identified at the time of collection. We collect this information for the purposes of advertising and marketing, analytics and research, customer service, and website security and maintenance.
  • Social Media Information includes information that you post by sharing on a blog or another social media platform. We may also collect this information when you use a social media platform to log into our Services. We collect this information when you provide it directly to us or when you instruct another party to provide it to us directly. Please note that your comments will be visible to the public, so you should never share personal information that you would like to keep private.   • User-Generated Content. If you post, upload, comment, or otherwise submit content on the Services, we may collect certain information about you such as your name and email address and products you may have purchased. Other Ways We May Collect, Use, or Share Your Information

We also reserve the right to collect, use, or share personal information for the following purposes:

  • For legal purposes. We reserve the right to cooperate with local, provincial, state, federal and international officials in any investigation requiring either personal information or reports about lawful of unlawful user activity on the Site. We also reserve the right to share your personal information to establish, exercise, or defend our legal and property rights, including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention.  We may also share your personal information with any person who we reasonably believe may apply to a court or other competent authority for disclosure of that personal information where, in our reasonable opinion, such court or authority would be reasonably likely to order disclosure of that personal information.

If we are ordered by a legal process or government to provide data about one or more individual users, we will notify those users of our compliance with that order, to the extent permitted by law.

  • Business transactions or mergers. We reserve the right to share your personal information to third parties as part of any potential business or asset sale, merger, acquisition, investment, round of funding, or similar type of transaction. Additionally, if we are entering into a corporate transaction with a third party, we may receive personal information in connection with the diligence.  If we close a transaction, the third party may transfer personal information, which we would use as described in this Policy.
  • Bankruptcy or insolvency. In the event of bankruptcy, insolvency, or dissolution proceedings, we may share your personal information with third parties as part of the sale or reorganization process.
  • Information from our partners and third-parties. We may collect information from our partners such as market research firms and our affiliates, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies with whom we operate. We may combine that information with other information we collect about you, but we will always use the information as described in this Policy.  We collect this information for the purposes of marketing, advertising, research, and analytics.
  • So Others Can Market to You.As detailed more fully below and in our California Privacy Policy, we use certain cookies or pixels that may collect personal information so that it can be used in connection with the marketing efforts of third parties. In those instances, your personal information may be used for third parties to serve unsolicited information, services, or products to you.

Automatically-collected information

Device/usage information

As described above, we may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Services. For example, we may collect and analyze information such as (a) IP addresses, geolocation information (as described in the next section below), unique device identifiers and other information about your mobile phone or other mobile device(s), browser types, browser language, operating system, the state or country from which you accessed the Services; and (b) information related to the ways in which you interact with the Services, such as: referring and exit pages and URLs, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages and content viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you used the Services, the frequency of your use of the Services, error logs, and other similar information. We may combine this information with the other categories of information we collect about you, as described above.  As described further below, we may use third-party analytics providers and technologies, including cookies and similar tools, to assist in collecting and analyzing this information.

We may also capture other data, such as search criteria and results. In some cases, we will associate this information with a unique identifier for our internal use.

Location information

We may collect different types of information about your location, including general information (e.g., IP address, zip code) and more specific information (e.g., GPS-based functionality on mobile devices used to access the Services), and may use that information to customize the Services with location-based information, advertising, and features. By using our Services, you consent to the collection of location information.

If you access the Services through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this. Cookies and Local Stored Objects

To enhance your experience on our Services, we place “cookies” on your computer or device. Cookies are small text files that we place in your computer or device to store your preferences. Other information you provide to us may be linked to the data stored in the cookie. A cookie assigns a unique numerical identifier to your Web browser or device, and may enable us to recognize you as the same user who has used our Services, and relate your use of the Services to other information about you.

We use session and performance cookies to provide you with the services you request and to improve your experience with our Services. LiveRamp

When you use our website and enter your email address on our website (either to log in, or to sign up to a newsletter, or similar), we may share with LiveRamp and its group companies information that we collect from you, such as your email (in hashed, pseudonymous form), IP address, or information about your browser or operating system, with any of the following, acting as “joint controllers” (as applicable and defined in the GDPR).

LiveRamp uses this information to create an online identification code that we may store in our first-party cookie for our use in online, in-app, and cross-channel advertising. This may be shared with advertising companies to enable interest-based and targeted advertising. LiveRamp uses this information to create an online identification code for the purpose of recognizing you on your devices. This code does not contain any of your directly identifiable personal data and will not be used by LiveRamp to re-identify you.

Common ID Cookie

One of the cookies we use is the Common ID Cookie, which helps us provide our services and measure advertising effectiveness. The Common ID cookie stores a unique user id in the first party domain and is accessible to our ad partners. This simple ID that can be utilized to improve user matching, especially for delivering ads to iOS and MacOS browsers. Users can opt out of the Common ID tracking cookie by clicking here.

3.              HOW WE MAY SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We will make your information available to other companies, websites, applications or people with your consent, or consistent with our legitimate interests, in the circumstances described below:

  • We may combine and share your information with non-affiliated third parties: (a) in order to provide services or products that we believe may be of interest to you; (b) when we have your permission; or (c) as described in this Privacy Policy.
  • We may combine and share your information with our agents or companies in order to provide the Services or advertising or to communicate with you on our behalf.
  • When you sign up to participate in a contest or sweepstakes, your information may also be provided to our sweepstakes or contest advertisers, operators, and/or sponsors and the use of that information will be also governed by the privacy policies or practices of those advertisers, operators, and/or sponsors.
  • We may combine and share your information with third-parties with whom we have a contractual relationship, including without limitation third party marketing partners for commercial purposes, third-party advertisers and advertising networks.
  • We may aggregate and/or de-identify your information so that the information no longer relates to you individually. Our use and disclosure of such aggregated or de-identified information is not subject to this Privacy Policy, and may be disclosed to others without limitation and for any purpose.

4.              EXERCISING CHOICE

Promotional Emails

You may opt-out from receiving future promotional emails from us, or direct that we not share your information with any Affiliated Companies, by clicking the “unsubscribe” button that appears on our promotional e-mails. Please refer to the settings or options menu in your email client for more information. You can remove yourself from our postal mailings by emailing us at privacy@a360media.com. You can also remove yourself by contacting us as described in the “How to Contact Us” section below.

Online Behavioral Advertising

When you use the Services, we may serve you with ads based on various factors such as the content of the page you are visiting, information you provide such as your age or gender, your searches, demographic data, user-generated content and other information that you provide to us as described in this Policy.

Some of the services and advertisements are delivered or served by third-party companies. These companies place or recognize cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or other technology to track certain information about our Services website users. For example, in the course of serving certain advertisements, an advertiser may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser in order to collect certain information about your use of the Services. For another example, an advertiser or ad server may also be able to collect your device’s unique identifier in the course of serving an ad. In many cases, this information could be used to show you ads on other websites based on your interests.

We do not have access to, nor control over, these third parties’ use of cookies or other tracking technologies or how they may be used.

For example, we use Google to serve advertisements on the Services, which use the Google Double-click cookie, and in some cases, a unique device identifier, to show you ads based on your visit to our websites and other sites on the Internet. Precise Device Location Tracking

If you authorized us and/or our service providers to collect and/or share information about the precise location of your device through a mobile application, you can always withdraw your consent and prevent the further collection and sharing of your precise device location information by accessing your devices location privacy settings. Each operating system, iOS for Apple devices, Android for Android devices and Windows for Microsoft devices, provides its own instructions on how to turn off precise location sharing. Sensitive Information

State privacy laws have different definitions and standards for processing sensitive personal data.  We will comply with applicable laws when processing such data.

Exercising Your Rights

If you wish to exercise one of the above rights, you can contact us by email at or by visiting our “Your Privacy Choices” page. We reserve the right to refuse requests where permitted by applicable law.

If necessary, we may request additional information reasonably necessary to authenticate you and your request.

In certain circumstances, you may make a request on behalf of another such as if you are an authorized agent or the parent or guardian of a child on behalf of whom you wish to exercise their rights. We may also request additional information to authenticate these requests.

We will respond to these consumer requests, if applicable, within 45 days of receipt of the request and without undue delay. If we need to extend this period, we will notify you of the delay and explain the reasonably necessary justifications for our delay.

We will provide responses to your requests free of charge unless certain exclusions apply, such as if you make more than two requests in a twelve-month period or if the request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive in nature.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your consumer rights, including by denying or charging different prices or rates for goods or services and providing a different quality of goods or services.

Appealing a Rights Request Decision

If we deny or fail to take action on your request to exercise your applicable consumer privacy rights, you may appeal our decision. To do this, you may email us at privacy@a360media.com. In the email appeal, please specify the right(s) you requested to exercise and the date you made such a request.

We will inform you in writing within 45 days of any action taken or not taken in response to the appeal. We will also provide a written explanation of the reasons for our decisions regarding your request(s).

6.              NEVADA USERS’ RIGHTS

Under Nevada law, certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of certain personally identifiable information for monetary consideration to a person for that person to license or sell such information to additional persons. We do not accept any monetary compensation for data that we share.

If you are a Nevada resident who has purchased or leased goods or services from us, you may (A) submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales, and/or (B) request changes to your Covered Information by emailing us at privacy@a360media.com. Please note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request.

7.              DO NOT TRACK

A360 recognizes the Global Privacy Control.

8.              SHINE THE LIGHT

Residents of the State of California, under certain provisions of the California Civil Code, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed certain personally identifiable information as defined under California law (if any) during the preceding year for third party direct marketing purposes. You are limited to one request per calendar year. In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. You may request the information in writing at: privacy@a360media.com with the subject heading “California Privacy Rights.”

9.              ACCESSING AND UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION

You may contact us as at privacy@a360media.com if you have questions or comments about our Privacy Policy; wish to make corrections to any personally identifiable information you have provided; wish to request deletion of your personally identifiable information; want to opt-out from receiving future commercial correspondence, including emails, from us or our Affiliated Companies; or wish to withdraw your consent to sharing your personally identifiable information with others.

We will respond to your request and, if applicable and appropriate, make the requested change in our active databases as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that we may not be able to fulfill certain requests while allowing you access to certain benefits and features of our Services.

10.           USERS LOCATED IN THE EEA, UK, AND SWITZERLAND

This section of our Privacy Policy is applicable to persons located in the European Union (“EU”), an European Economic Area member state (“EEA”), United Kingdom (“UK”), or Switzerland as well as to persons whose personal information is processed in or transferred from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland.  You are entitled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and UK General Data Protection Regulation (collectively, the “GDPR”), to the information in this section of our Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You are entitled by law to access, correct, amend, or delete personal information about you that we hold.  A summary listing these rights appears below.  Please note that these rights are not absolute and certain exemptions may apply to specific requests that you may submit to us.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information below in the “Contact Us” section.  For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.  In the event that we refuse a request, we will provide you a reason as to why.

Asking us to access your personal information

You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not we are processing personal information about you, and if so, the right to be provided with the information contained in this Policy.  You also have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.  When making a request, please provide an accurate description of the personal information to which you want access. Where requests are repetitive or manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative cost.

Asking us to rectify your personal information

You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate.  You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Asking us to delete your personal information

You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information if:

  • We no longer need it for the purposes for which we collected it;
  • We have been using it with no valid legal basis;
  • We are obligated to erase it to comply with a legal obligation to which we are subject;
  • We need your consent to use the information and you withdraw consent; or
  • You object to us processing your personal information where our legal basis for doing so is our legitimate interests and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing.

However, this right is not absolute.  Even if you make a request for deletion, we may need to retain certain information for legal or administrative purposes, such as record keeping, maintenance of opt-out requirements, defending or making legal claims, or detecting fraudulent activities.  We will retain information in accordance with the “How Long Your Personal Information Is Kept” section below.

If you do exercise a valid right to have your personal information deleted, please keep in mind that deletion by third parties to whom the information has been provided might not be immediate and that the deleted information may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period (but will not be available to others).

Asking us to restrict our use of your personal information

You have the right to ask us to place a restriction on our use of your personal information if one of the following applies to you:

  • You contest the accuracy of the information that we hold about you, while we verify its accuracy;
  • We have used your information unlawfully, but you request us to restrict its use instead of erasing it;
  • We no longer need the information for the purpose for which we collected it, but you need it to deal with a legal claim; or
  • You have objected to us using your information, while we check whether our legitimate grounds override your right to object.

The right to transfer your personal information to another service provider

You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us from one organization to another, or give it to you (i.e., data portability).  This applies to personal information we are processing to service a contract with you and to personal information we are processing based on your consent.

The right to withdraw consent
